Materials required: A piece of A5 or A6 card for each member of the class with an activity on it. Notes: This is best done in a longer class that includes some group activities. The group activities provide a less disruptive time for doing the activities on the cards than when you may be talking to the whole class. g. ’ Activities don’t necessarily need to be directly related to the topic, they will still help keep the class active and alert. Activities could include: ■ Ask two questions in the session.

The first person to shout wins a small prize. Variations: You can either offer one small prize or carry on all session allowing people to win prizes.
